What the agent can do
Once connected, the agent has tools to work with Salesforce contacts, leads, accounts, opportunities, sequences, tasks, and notes, and can run SOQL queries directly for more complex lookups and filtering. As with HubSpot, most write actions cost 1 credit — see credits. You can enable or disable individual Salesforce tools and require approval before they run from the Salesforce card’s Capabilities tab in Tools; disconnecting it is a Danger Zone action on that same card’s Configuration tab. What’s different from HubSpot
A few automatic behaviors are currently HubSpot-only:- Swan does not automatically log outreach activity (emails, LinkedIn messages, replies) to Salesforce records the way it does for HubSpot. If you want outreach logged to Salesforce, you need to instruct Swan to do it explicitly — for example, as an instructions in a trigger or sequence step.
- The contact/company creation policies described in Swan vs. your CRM are HubSpot-specific settings; they don’t apply to Salesforce.
- Salesforce doesn’t currently fire Swan triggers the way HubSpot workflows do — see how triggers work for the trigger sources Swan supports today.
